Kerbside gives you a fair-price estimate for a car — a range with the factors that pushed it up or down, plus a local market signal and optional deeper research on the vehicle. Estimates blend real listings from Marketcheck with a depreciation model that fills in when comparable listings are thin.

Estimates are informational, not a valuation, appraisal, offer, or guarantee. Actual transaction prices depend on things Kerbside can't see — the specific car's condition, dealer add-ons, incentives, negotiation, and how the market moves next week. Don't use Kerbside as the sole basis for a large financial decision. Get an in-person inspection before you buy, and shop the price you actually see.

By using the site, you agree to:

• Give us honest inputs. Sale outcomes you contribute should be accurate — they shape estimates for other people.
• Not hammer our APIs, scrape the site, or try to overwhelm the paid data sources behind it.
• Not attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication.
• Not reverse-engineer, resell, or rebuild Kerbside's output as your own product.

We can suspend access if abuse or repeated bad-faith contributions turn up.

Kerbside surfaces content from other places — Marketcheck listings, NHTSA recalls, EPA fuel economy, YouTube video reviews, editorial reviews and Reddit threads via Brave Search, and AI-generated syntheses from Anthropic. Each source has its own terms and accuracy is their responsibility, not ours. Links out are attribution, not endorsement.

You keep whatever you contribute (sale outcomes, account details). By contributing a sale outcome you grant Kerbside a non-exclusive right to include it, in anonymized aggregate form, in future estimates. Your individual outcome is never shown to other users. Kerbside is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do our best to keep the numbers honest, but market data has gaps and depreciation models are approximations.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Kerbside and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site — including losses from a car purchase or sale you made based on an estimate. If a court decides we do owe you something, that amount won't exceed $100 or the amount you've paid us in the last twelve months, whichever is higher.

If we materially change what's in here, we'll update the date at the top and, for signed-in users, note it on next sign-in. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
